Watergun fights are way to much fun!

I'm not sure what it is about watergun fights, but Garrett and Grace have a vlast spraying water at each other. Last night Laurel brought home new waterguns and they had a blast. Here is Garrett soaking wet, but all smiles.

This next picture is Garrett (left) and his cousin Miles spraying Grace.


And, to top it all off, it was a beautiful evening as the sun set in our front yard. Here's a shot from our front porch.


I hope you can take some time this spring and have a waterfight with your kids and friends. It's a great stress reliever after a long day at work.

Here comes a thunderstorm...

We had some bad weather the other day at the office. I ran outside and took some pictures before it started pouring down rain. The wind blew so hard for a few minutes that it was raining completely sideways. It also hailed golfball size hail last night when I was driving home. I thought my truck was a gonner, but not a ding or a scratch on it, thank goodness.

Grace loves ballet.

I love my oldesy child Grace. She is stinkin sweet. This is from last years dance pictures. It is a picture of a picture in my office. She loves to dance.

Easter Egg Hunt

last Saturday we had an Easter Egg hunt for the kids. We started it about 3 years ago for grace and her friends and it has grown ever since. Now we have Grace, Garrett and Griffin's friends and it is huge. We had 35 kids plus their parents for the egg hunt. It was alot of fun.
Grace and Garrett are really getting in the Easter spirit. Grace has been telling me all about the Passion week and what Easter really means. She explained that Jesus was hung on a cross and then rose from the tomb he was put in 3 days later. It is so great to hear her grab hold of Biblical truths and understand what and why we celebrate Christ's resurrection.

Griffin in the car

You know how parents always talk about how cute their kids are and you kinda think, "oh great, here we go again!"? Well, my kids are stinkin cute and that's all that really matters, right?

Seriously though, I love my kids a ton. My youngest, Griffin, is such a cool little kid. He is 19 months now. Growing up fast. Here's a few pictures from the car this past weekend. He was eating Wendy's french fries...his favorite. The kid would live on fries if he could. You can also see the nice scratch on his forhead from a wipout out side last week.

Hillsong United

Laurel and I went to Northpoint Community Church down in the ATL last night and saw Hillsong United in concert. It was really a concert, it was a worship service. It was amazing. If you have never heard United then you have been missing out. I have never seen or heard a group of yound followers of Christ who have so much passion to just worship God in spirit and truth.



Their sound is relevant to todays younger generations, but so genuine and real. It was really an amazing night for both laurel and I. United only comes to the US a few times a year. They are based out of Hillsong church in Australia. There was about 3,500 people there last night. We waited in line for 4 hours just to make sure we got in. It was a pretty crazy scene. It was a beautiful night of believers worshipping and lifting voices to the God who loves us all so much. United also came out with their new album yesterday too! It's called United We Stand.

Win one for Z-Man

If case you didn't turn the TV on all weekend, Florida is playing in the mens basketball national championship tonight. They whooped up on George Mason and will play UCLA tonight. One of me old friends from high school (his nickname is Z-Man) called me Saturday night after UF won. He went to UF and has been a die hard UF fan since birth. He was in hog heaven (or was it gator heaven?). Anyways, 6 years ago to this day (4/3/2000) the Gators played for the national championship, which is also Z-Man's birthday.

So, now with UF playing for the title it is also Z-Man's birthday again. All he said he wants for his birthday day is a national championship. It looks like the chances are pretty good. Hopefully, it's not a repeat of the game 6 years ago. Good luck Z and Happy birthday!!! Go Gators!
