i went snowboarding

I mentioned on friday I might go snowboarding...well, I did. It was a lot of fun. There was only like 50 people on the mountain since it was in the afternoon and there was about 6 inches of fresh snow too. It snowed the whole time I was there and I got in some great rides. My behind never hit the snow the whole day. I just rode straight to the lift, got off the life and sat on a bench the strap up and cruised down the mountain. Snowboarding is an amazing thing.
I love the feeling of being on your edge, cutting back and forth down the mountain. It's probably the best riding feeling I have experienced that is close to surfing. Since I can't hit the salt water much anymore, snowboard is my new love when it comes to board sports. I can't wait to start teaching the kids next year. It will give even more reason to go ride more often.
The picture is from Cataloochees website. Some photographer takes pics all day and uploads them on their site to buy. I know it says not to copy, but I thought it was cool. I have never seen a picture of myself snowboarding.
